Ramen workshop in Gion.
At Musoshin Noodle Machine Experience Center, you can take a ramen workshop in Gion, one of Kyoto's most popular sightseeing spots.
A noodle maker will carefully teach you how to make homemade "noodles," the lifeblood of Musoshin Ramen, which is visited by 6,000 people per month.
At the end of the workshop, you will be served our famous ramen.

Homemade noodles completed through trial and error
We have been making our own homemade noodles since the establishment of our restaurant. We blend carefully selected flours to match the soup, make the noodles, and serve them after aging. They are characterized by their firmness and smooth texture.

Soup
The reason why the soup is thick and rich, yet fluffy and gentle on the palate, is because it is infused with plenty of vegetables.

Made with local ingredients from Kyoto.
Black sesame seeds from Gion Murata, a sesame shop in Kyoto, are used in the "Kuro-soba" available only at the Gion branch. Each seat is seasoned with black shichimi from "Hararyokaku", and rice is made in Kyoto and Tanba.

Q. What is used for the tasting ramen?

A. Wheat is used for the noodles. Vegetarian and no-meat-no-fish tasting menus are also available.

About Children
Q. Can I bring my child to the event?

A. Children 5 years old and up are welcome to join us, while children under 4 years old can use our Japanese-style room.

About the Facilities
Q. Is the facility wheelchair accessible?

A. The facility is a renovated old private house, and there are some steps.

A. No, we do not. There are coin-operated parks nearby.
