Details

Amazake & Sundries Cafe Mémédreaming," with the theme of transmitting Japanese culture through rice, offers a "hands-on service for making rice balls and comparing amazake drinks" for foreign visitors to Japan.
Located at the foot of Tokyo Tower, just a few minutes' walk from Zojoji Temple, the area is visited by many foreign visitors to Japan, and visitors can experience making rice balls while learning about Japanese history and culture!

**Learn about Japanese history and culture! **

We will talk about Japanese history and culture while making onigiri (rice balls), such as "why onigiri are triangular," "the difference between Japanese rice and Thai rice," "amazake and related Japanese folktales," and more.

**Amazake, a special kind of amazake! **

You can enjoy amazake made with rice malted rice in collaboration with "Yamaguchi Koji Store" (established in 1873), a professional fermentation company. A wide range of amazake is available, from plain amazake with natural sweetness to amazake with tomato, kinako (soybean flour), and a different kind of amazake with green juice.

**Everyone is welcome!

First-timers, one-persons, or as part of a sightseeing tour are welcome to join us.
