99% of the Agu pork available in the market is a mix of one to two breeds. At our store "Kakure," we offer the highly rare "100% Purebred" Agu pork, which accounts for only 1% of Agu pigs. It is characterized by its abundant collagen and refreshing taste, and while its meat quality has a slightly firmer, game-like impression compared to Moromi pork and Nan-nu Agu, it is said to contain about three times the umami components compared to regular pork. Due to its overwhelming scarcity and the fact that it is hardly available in Okinawa Island, it is referred to as the "Phantom Pig." This special pork is raised under the starry skies of Ishigaki Island's "Honest Village," reflecting the producer's dedication.

"Pai nu" is said in the Yaeyama dialect, which means "south." The word "nu" is a variation of the particle "no."
In Ishigaki Island, it is raised on Yaeyama Farm's own ranch, where the father is a purebred Agu pig (F1 strain) born at the Happiness Ranch, and it is said to be the only brand Agu pig called "Pai nu pig," a hybrid of Western pigs from the maternal line.
It eats a special original fermented fertilizer made from pressed pineapple mash and bran in Ishigaki Island and grows robustly in the great nature of Ishigaki Island. The meat is tender and extremely juicy!!
Moreover, compared to other pigs, it has a lower melting point, allowing for a melt-in-your-mouth flavor experience.
