Summary
A rare course where you can learn about traditional Japanese fermented foods. This valuable class allows you to learn about Japan's history and the secrets to health through fermented foods!
Details
Did you know that Japan is the longest-lived country in the world, and fermented foods are one of the keys to this? An instructor with a certified qualification as a fermented food expert will teach you simple and delicious recipes using traditional Japanese fermented ingredients in a small class format (maximum 6 people), explaining everything carefully. You will also learn about koji, an essential key to Japanese cuisine.
A vegan version (using thick fried tofu instead of chicken) is also available, so please let us know when making a reservation if you prefer this.
[Convenient Access]
The kitchen is located in the center of Tokyo (10 minutes from Shibuya Station to the kitchen), so you can arrive easily regardless of the weather. It is a spacious, modern space with a nice view, allowing you to learn comfortably.
[Learn in a Short Time]
The lesson duration is only 2 hours, making it perfect for travelers and busy people.
[Special Promotion!]
There is a dessert class using amazake starting at 2 pm. Those who take two classes on the same day will receive a special gift! (Rice koji amazake used in the class)

[Sides]
Two vegetable dishes using miso: Learn new ways to use miso beyond miso soup! Edible cherry blossom decoration included.
[Dessert]
Mini dessert using amazake: Please try amazake, a traditional Japanese sweet fermented food.
Note: The menu may change depending on the season and other factors.
Notes
Wheelchair access is not available.
Please inform us if you have any allergy restrictions.
This experience is intended for those without heart disease or other serious medical conditions.
Due to the difficulty of the lecture, this experience may not be suitable for children under 6 years old. The fee for children aged 7 and older is the same as for adults.
Traditional fermented seasoning "mirin" is used in the cooking. It contains alcohol, but since the alcohol evaporates when heated, guests can consume it. However, children cannot taste items that are not heated.
