Details
Did you know that Japan is the longest-living country in the world, and fermented foods are one of the keys to this? An instructor with a Fermented Food Expert qualification will teach simple recipes using traditional Japanese fermented ingredients in a small class setting (up to 6 people), providing careful explanations.
【Convenient Location】
The kitchen is located in central Tokyo (10 minutes from Shibuya Station), allowing you to arrive quickly even in extreme heat or bad weather. The spacious modern space offers a nice view and a comfortable environment for learning.
The lesson lasts only 2 hours, making it perfect for travelers or busy individuals!
Fermented foods are beneficial for health and beauty and are also deeply connected to Japan's history and culture. The course uses rice malt amazake and sake lees, which are rare overseas.
Amazake is so nutritious it is called “drinkable IV drip” and has long been cherished as a superfood in Japan. Additionally, you can experience sake lees, traditionally used in household beauty treatments, through a hand mask, and enjoy a visually beautiful cherry blossom tea for a satisfying Japanese-style afternoon tea!
【Special Promotion!】
There is a fermented food lunch class starting at 11 am. Those who take both lunch and dessert classes on the same day will receive a special gift! (Rice malt amazake used in the class)

Notes
The sake lees used in the class contain approximately 8% alcohol. Therefore, please refrain from driving after the course. Infants must sit on your lap. This experience is intended for those without heart disease or other serious medical conditions. Wheelchair access is not available. Due to the difficulty of the lecture, this experience may not be suitable for children under six years old. The fee for children aged seven and older is the same as for adults. Please inform us if you have any allergy restrictions. As with other ingredients and cosmetics, some people may have adverse reactions to sake lees. If your skin is extremely sensitive or you have wounds on your hands, you may be refused participation in the hand mask experience.
