Summary

This is a plan to enjoy a tea ceremony experience wearing a kimono. By wearing a kimono, you will feel "Japanese" and your manners will become more relaxed.
The time required for the tea ceremony experience is longer than that of a regular tea ceremony experience because of the time required for dressing.

Details

***Experience Details***

■ Calm Japanese-style studio
The tea room where you can experience the tea ceremony has a calm and soothing ambiance, allowing you to take pictures with a sense of elegance. You are welcome to take as many photos as you like during the experience, so please capture many memories to take home with you.
*Please refrain from video recording and audio recording.*
*Kimono must be returned by 5 PM on the day of the event.*

■ Experience while sitting on a chair
Based on your preference, you can enjoy the tea ceremony experience without sitting in the traditional seiza position, remaining seated in a chair. Feel free to consult us when making your reservation.

■ Popular Japanese sweets "Anko-dama" in Asakusa
The sweets served with the matcha during the tea ceremony experience are the popular "Anko-dama". This delicious Japanese confection is made of white bean paste wrapped in agar, offering a natural flavor that is delightful.
Vegetarians, vegans, and those following halal diets can enjoy it with peace of mind.

■ For children under 8 years old
Since this experience is designed for adults, the target age is set at 8 years and older. Children under 8 years old cannot participate in the experience, but if they are accompanying you, we ask for a "private session."

*The private session fee is an additional 22,000 yen per group for each experience.*

■ Wheelchair access available
You can enjoy the experience while remaining in your wheelchair. Please note that the restroom is not wheelchair accessible.
*Some experiences may be challenging, so please consult us in advance.*

■ Both chair and seiza are acceptable
We can accommodate individual preferences. It is fine if some participants sit in chairs while others perform the experience in a seiza position, so feel free to reach out with any inquiries.

■ Instructors who can speak English
Our instructors can provide direct instruction in English, ensuring overseas customers can participate with confidence.

■ Photos allowed, videos and recordings not permitted
You are welcome to take photos during the experience. However, video recording and audio recording are generally not allowed.

■ Private sessions available if you want to experience with just family
There may be instances where you will share the experience with other customers. If you wish to use a private session, please let us know at the time of your reservation.

Notes

If you are late for your reservation time, the experience time may be shortened or you may not be able to participate, and refunds are not possible, so please arrive on time.
The experience is basically a shared seating arrangement. If you prefer to have the venue exclusively, please let us know in advance.
If you have a bean allergy, please inform us in advance.
