Nada-ku, Kobe, is the largest producer of sake in Japan, and there are about 30 sake breweries in the area known as "Nada Gogo," which stretches 24 km east to west. The history of sake brewing dates back to around 1330. Nada is blessed with various conditions suitable for sake brewing.
