Nishiazabu Kitamura / 西麻布きたむら

  • Tokyo : Aoyama, Roppongi・Akasaka
  • Sushi / OMAKASE, Sushi, Japanese cuisine

Enjoy the taste of the ingredients that our artisans have brought out to the fullest extent.

Kitamura, located along Hoshijoki Dori in Nishiazabu 1-chome, is a real hideout in a condominium without a sign.
Even if you take the elevator down to the 4th floor, it is difficult to notice its existence, making it a special place known only to those who visit.

The restaurant's artisans work diligently with the ingredients to provide dishes that bring out the best of the season's ingredients.
We pursue dishes that will leave a lasting impression on our guests, and we put our heart and soul into every ingredient, hospitality, and atmosphere.

The course menu, using carefully selected quality ingredients from all over Japan, consists of a la carte dishes and nigiri (hand-rolled sushi), allowing diners to enjoy seasonal flavors.
For example, not only the main ingredients such as fresh sea urchins from Hokkaido and shijimi clams from Aomori Prefecture, but also the broth used for the soup stock is made with the utmost attention to domestic products.

In addition, we offer a wide selection of sake, such as "Jyuuyondai" and "Saku," carefully selected by the owner, as well as a wide selection of wines that go well with sushi.
Please enjoy our unique lineup, which is only available at our restaurant where gourmets gather, with our special sushi.

OMAKASE COURSE: 10 pieces of sushi and 7 recommended dishes.

    Eight dishes of single-item cuisine
Twelve pieces of nigiri (including toro, akami, white fish, shellfish, eel, etc.)
    One roll

    Examples of dishes:
A sake dish that pairs well with both white wine and sake, "Shikon no Shoyu-zuke"
This dish features shiiya clams from Aomori, marinated in bonito broth and garlic soy sauce. A masterpiece that reaches a medium-rare state with just three minutes of heating, it pairs perfectly with both white wine and sake. The aroma of the ocean is followed by the flavor of garlic, making it a dish that enhances your drinking experience.

"Sushi Chef's Expertise in Japanese Cuisine: Unagi no Meshi-zushi"
Enjoy the harmonizing texture of organic glutinous rice and domestic eel in this dish. A professional technique removes any fishy taste, bringing out the eel's natural umami in this drool-worthy creation. This is the ultimate dish crafted in the “Kitamura style” with the skills of a sushi chef.

"Uni Tamago-kake Gohan" with a mellow scent of the sea
Rice seasoned with bonito broth, cooked in a clay pot, is combined with an egg yolk and topped with fresh sea urchin from Hokkaido and Ariake nori. While it's nice to enjoy it simply with salt, adding just a drop of homemade black vinegar enhances the pairing between the egg yolk and the sea urchin, deepening the flavor.
