Exquisite "Kyoto cuisine" packed with the beauty of the four seasons, and elegant "hospitality".

Our restaurant has been delivering Kyoto cuisine for over 20 years on the site of Takayoin, the former residence of Fujiwara Yorimichi who founded Byodo-in.

We offer a variety of courses using seasonal ingredients, with the desire for many people to appreciate the excellence of Japanese cuisine.

Chef Kenji Kaji, who trained at a long-established Kyoto ryotei and served as head chef for 15 years at a ryotei in Takagamine, showcases his skills here.

We provide private rooms and counters overlooking the courtyard, with the option to connect rooms for large groups.
