The third generation owner trained at a soba restaurant in Tokyo and returned to our restaurant in 1980.
He has continued his efforts to spread soba culture in Kyoto.
His efforts were recognized by the government and he received a prestigious award.
Facing the question of [what is Kyoto soba], we started growing soba in Kyoto Prefecture.
Although we do not produce a large amount of buckwheat, the buckwheat noodles we grow, harvest, and make with great care are exceptional.
We will continue to provide delicious buckwheat noodles as we search for the future of buckwheat noodle culture.
