Chef and staff was friendly and attentive. It was helpful for foreign as they have a translator device to facilitate conversations and a fish chart with English translation to let you know what you are being served. Highly recommend for tourists to visit.

Amazing experience, the best meal we had in Japan/ July 2025
We were astounded by the skill and generosity, as well as the showcase of Kyushu ingredients. Too many highlights to count; but particularly the seasonal nigiri (including an incredible young sea bream), the horse mackerel sashimi, simmered greens in sesame daishi and toro will be remembered for a long long time. Sake pairing was excellent and generous for price/quality. A real gem, could not recommend more.

Having experienced top omakase in Tokyo, Sushi Shinagawa in Fukuoka impressed with both precise cuisine and extraordinary hospitality. Kyushu seafood shone in creative, balanced dishes like cheese-enhanced chawanmushi. The chef’s warmth—personally seeing us off—elevated the evening, making this hidden gem a must-visit for any serious food lover.
