Grind powdered green tea using a stone mortar and enjoy the experience with Japanese sweets.

Details

When one thinks of Kyoto, one thinks of traditional temples and shrines, cobblestone streets, and kimono-clad geisha.
But there is another side to Japan's ancient capital beyond the urban areas, where the landscape is transformed into vast green terraced tea plantations.
This special tea experience takes place in a tea garden in the very town of Wazuka in southern Kyoto.
There, some of the finest tea in the country is grown and harvested.
During this tour, you will have the opportunity to interact with local farmers and cook with local ingredients.
