Summary

You can make cute Japanese sweets easily and simply. Why not express your uniqueness through wagashi (nerikiri sweets)?

You will learn the basic knowledge and how to make wagashi, and experience making wagashi using traditional tools. This is a course where you will create the classic "sakura" and two other works.

Details

***Experience Details***

■What is Nerikiri?
Nerikiri is a traditional Japanese sweet (wagashi) that uses白餡 to express seasonal plants and scenery through shape and color. Using traditional tools, let's create beautiful wagashi. The shapes and colors are entirely flexible. Depending on your ideas, you can create a unique wagashi that is solely yours. After making your wagashi, enjoy taking "Instagram-worthy" photos in a pure Japanese-style studio, and you can either eat them or take them home (take-home sweet cases are available).

■Experience in a Purely Japanese Studio
The experience venue is in a purely Japanese-style studio, allowing you to enjoy the ambiance of making wagashi in a high-end wagashi shop.
*Since the work is done at tables and chairs, it is comfortable even for long durations.

■No Need to Bring Anything
All tools are provided, so you can participate hands-free. The materials and tools used are traditional, specific to wagashi making.

Please cooperate with hygiene management
As this is a food handling experience, please cooperate with hygiene measures.

■Hand washing and hand sanitizing (before starting and as needed)
Wearing gloves (provided by us)
