At "SUSHI MASTER Kawaramachi," we offer a unique experience where customers can make sushi themselves.
Using carefully selected high-quality ingredients, just like a real sushi restaurant, you can learn from scratch how to make authentic nigiri sushi (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, egg, shrimp) and gunkan maki (salmon roe, crab flakes, negitoro), starting from shaping the rice like a craftsman.
Furthermore, friendly Japanese staff (who can communicate in English) will explain the history of Japanese cuisine and sushi, the different types of sushi, and the role of vinegar and sake in sushi culture in an enjoyable manner.
After the experience, you can savor the sushi you made along with carefully selected drinks.
