Summary

This tour will take you to the charming Yanaka area, one of the few areas in Tokyo that still retains a traditional downtown atmosphere.
The Yanaka area has a nostalgic and rustic atmosphere, offering a different sightseeing experience from the urban atmosphere.

Details

Yanaka (Yanaka) survived the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 and a major fire, and was one of the few areas to escape Allied air raids during World War II.
The area has a long history as an artisan town, home to many well-known writers and artists.
The same spirit is still present today, and an afternoon stroll along the small side streets that divide the south side of Nippori Station will reveal a diverse array of crafts, including textiles, ink painting, wood carving, traditional cooking, stationery, pottery, and jewelry.

Sample snacks from local food stalls, stop by stores that are over 100 years old, visit local shrines and temples, and enjoy a local lunch.
The tour ends with a traditional tea ceremony.

*0 yen for ages 0-2.
